Respite - Some seniors can not live independently, but are living at home with the help of a caregiver, such as a spouse, adult child, sibling or close friend. Providing care around the clock can be stressful. A Respite Worker can care for the dependent senior so that the caregiver can enjoy time away from responsibilities for a short period. We have Alzheimer's Respite for families caring for a senior who has Alzheimer's or another form of dementia. For more information about Alzheimer's Respite, click here.
Before services
begin, a home visit will be done by one of our Social Workers or a Health
Department Nurse. |
