The Department on Aging specializes in helping caregivers explore and access resources for their family's situation. Caregivers might be a loved one with a spouse or parent age 60 or older, a senior caring for an adult disabled child, or kinship caregivers 55 or older.
The community services the Caregiver Support Program offers are:
• Information • Education • Counseling • Caregiver Support Group • Relatives as Parents Peer Support Group • Special workshops and a community conference • Unmet needs assistance
