Animal Boarding
Animals are boarded when they have bitten a person or another
animal, or when they have been picked up running loose.
Board is charged each day at 1 p.m.
Boarding Fees
0-20 lbs - $8.00 per day
21-50 lbs. - $12.00 per day
51 lbs. and over - $15.00 per day
Redemption of Pets
Paid when individuals come in to the shelter and find their
pet. The redemption fees are as follows:
First Fee
Dog - $60.00 - $70.00 (includes rabies and distemper/parvo
shots, and license)
Cat - $20.00 (includes rabies shot)
Livestock - $40.00 plus handling fee
Second Fee
Dog - $105.00 - $115.00 (includes rabies and distemper/parvo
shots, license, and sterilization deposit)
Cat - $65.00 (includes rabies shot and sterilization
deposit)
Livestock - $80.00 plus handling fee
Third Fee
Dog - $125.00 - $135.00 (includes rabies and distemper/parvo
shots, license, and sterilization deposit)
Cat - $80.00 (includes rabies shot and sterilization
deposit)
Livestock - $120.00 plus handling fee
