Dog Donations
Dogs can be donated to the U.S. Customs office to be trained
as narcotic dogs. The dogs must pass a basic test at the
Animal Shelter. If the test is passed, the dog goes into
basic training. We have sent 5 dogs to the U.S. Customs
and 4 have passed their training. The fifth was placed into
a home.
We also donate dogs to Paws for a Cause.
We have also donated dogs and cats to local veterinarians
who have needed blood for transfusions.
