Pat Smith (Dem) represents the 10th District. She serves on the County Affairs, Human Services Committees. Pat also serves on the Region II Commission on Aging, SCMW, Land Bank, Traffic Safety and the Community Action Agency Committees.

Pat is retired from SBC (previously Michigan Bell) after 40 years of service during which time she worked in several departments. She was president for two years for the Telephone Pioneers, a club for telephone employees that had 18 years or more of service. As president of this club, she was responsible for meetings, planning luncheons, fund raisers, and potlucks. Pat volunteered as Junior Achievement advisor for three years.

Pat has three daughters and five grandchildren.
