Commissioner Earl Poleski Earl Poleski (REP) has been a resident of Jackson County for over 30 years. He and his wife, Candy, have two grown sons.

He graduated from Parkside High School in 1974; Jackson Community College in 1976; Albion College (BA–Economics & Business Administration) in 1978; and Walsh College (MS–Taxation) in 1986. He has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant since 1981.

In addition to serving his clients as a CPA, Earl has served the community in several ways. He has served on a number of charitable Boards of Directors, including the Family Service and Children’s Aid Society. He is the Treasurer and a Past President of the Jackson Breakfast Rotary Club.

He has been a member of Jackson First United Methodist Church since 1973, and has served in many capacities, including Leadership Council Chair, Finance Committee Chair, chair of the Organ Building and Sanctuary Renovation Committee, and member of the Chancel Choir.

He has served as Secretary of the Spring Arbor Township Planning Commission and participated in drafting its most recent Master Land Use Plan.
