 Jim Videto (Rep) represents the 6th District, which covers areas of Spring Arbor, Concord and Pulaski Townships, and also part of Parma Village, and a portion of Sandstone Township.
Jim is the son of Max and Georgia, and grew up working with his grandfather, father and brothers on Videto Vista Farms which is located just east of Spring Arbor. Jim now co-owns the farms along with his brothers.
He has three children, daughters, Kim, Heather and son James and is a proud grandfather of two granddaughters, Hannah & Hailey.
Commissioner Videto is presently serving his third 2-year term as County Commissioner and is Chairman of the Personnel and Finance Committee, member of the County Agencies Committee, Fair Board, Parks Commission and Chair-person for SCMW Consortium Board. Jim has also held numerous positions on community and professional boards, which includes seven years on the Western School Board, twelve years as a trustee on the Spring Arbor Township Board and thirty years as a Volunteer for the Spring Arbor Township Fire Department.
Commissioner Videto is currently a Realtor with the Brokerage Land, Co., which is located in Jackson.
Jim feels his job as County Comissioner is to listen, research and respond with the best decision possible. His goal is “COMMON SENSE LEADERSHIP”.
