Jonathan Tade Williams - Jackson County District 9 Commissioner Jonathan Tade Williams (‘Jon’) (REP), is serving his first term as Commissioner. He resides in the City of Jackson, and represents District 9. He is married to Tucker Ann, and has one son, Tader.

 

Jon’s political/government experience spans the better part of 20 years, beginning with an education in political science (MSU ’94) and public administration (WMU ’97). Following completion of his undergraduate studies, he went to work for Senator Phil Hoffman (District 19 – Jackson, Hillsdale and Branch Counties) as a Constituent Relations Specialist. Upon completion of his graduate studies, Jon was hired by Kellogg Community College where he currently teaches courses in American Government. In 2000, Jon completed the Michigan Political Leadership Program (MSU fellowship). He has been involved with the local Republican Party since 1994, serving six years as Chairman of the Party.

 

Jon is a hunter and a fisherman, but most enjoys spending time with his wife and son.
