County Canvassers
The Board of County Canvassers’ primary responsibilities is to canvass or certify procedures after an election and conduct all recounts. This includes validation of signatures, machines, and procedures of an election.
The Board consists of four (4) members plus County Clerk.
Meet after general and special elections, usually within 2 days after an election. All elections except City. This includes schools, villages, and some townships.
The length of term is four (4) years and appointments are made in October.
