The oversight for the operation of the County Road
Commission, an agency responsible for all activities which occur on or adjacent to 1560 miles of primary and local roadways and bridges located outside incorporated cities and villages.
One Road Commissioner is responsible for the operation of his/her assigned area.
The Commission oversees routine maintenance activities on approx. 200 miles of state roadway under contract with MDOT.
