Geoffrey Snyder, Jackson County Drain Commissioner
The Drain Commissioner has jurisdiction over all drains within the county, including those heretofore established and now in the process of construction. As an elected official, administers that State Law and County Ordinances pertaining to construction and maintenance of drains, sewer, refuse systems, water management districts and sub-districts, in-land lake level projects, inland lake improvements and the platting of subdivisions and mobile home parks. The Drain Commissioner is a statutory member of the Jackson County Board of Public Works and the Jackson County Parks and Recreation Commission.
