Three Giant Summer Firework Shows Family Night Schedule
Sat., May 26: Giant Fireworks Show featuring Root Doctor, playing a diverse mix of classic soul and R&B alongside traditional blues and inspired original material. 7:00 p.m. show. Admission $6.00 per person; age 10 & under free when accompanied by an adult. (Rain Date: Sunday, May 27th)
Wed., Jun 20: Jackson Artists, the Act III Band will have the Amphitheater dancin’ with their Rock ’N Roll sound. 7:30 p.m. show. Characters will greet the kids.
Wed., Jun 27: The Blue Hawaiians will be playing a mix of Blues, Rock & Roll and Reggae. 7:30 p.m. show. Characters will greet the kids.
Tues., Jul 3: Our Independence Day Fireworks Show will feature local favorite Karen Kidder and the Alibi Band. 7:00 p.m. show will offer a variety of rock favorites. Admission is $6.00 per person; age 10 & under free when accompanied by an adult. (Rain Date: Thursday, July 5th)
Wed., Jul 11: Third Down will play Rock n’ Roll and R&B while characters greet the kids. 7:30 p.m. show.
Wed, Jul 18: Legendary Jackson favorites The Hy-Notes is a variety polka band that will entertain for our Halloween Celebration at the Falls. Magic Mike will also be there performing magic for the kids and characters will be on hand as well. Break out your Halloween costume early and join us for a 7:30 p.m. show.
Wed, Jul 25: Billie Lewis and the Soulbacks will be playing R&B and Rock on the Falls stage. Characters will not be in attendance this week.
Wed., Aug 1: Lost Wageswill be delivering their unique blend of sounds including Rock, Funk, and Country. Characters will greet the kids. Show begins at 7:30 p.m.
Wed., Aug 8: Jackson Artist Steve Berkemeier will bring the sounds of John Denver, Neil Diamond, James Taylor and more! 7:30 p.m. show. Characters will greet the kids.
Wed., Aug 15: The Cascades Disney Night Extravaganza comes to the Falls again this year. Karen Kidder will be on the Falls stage to share the magical sounds of Disney with everyone. 7:30 p.m. show. Characters will greet the kids.
Wed., Aug 22: BigFoot Big Band will take you back to the big band era. 7:30 p.m. show. Characters will not be in attendance this evening.
Sat., Sep 1: End of Summer Fireworks Show with live entertainment by Wheatfield Soul, offering a variety of music from artists ranging from the Beatles to U2 and Kid Rock to Adele. 7:00 p.m. show. Admission is $6.00 per person; 10 & under free when accompanied by an adult. (Rain Date: Sunday, Sept. 2nd)
Rotary Bandshell Summer Concerts (All Bandshell Concerts are Free to the Public)
Saturday, May 19: Infinity Jazz Ensemble is a local group that covers so much more than jazz. Come on out and kick off the bandshell concert season with us. Show begins at 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 2: The Victor Trachsel Trio. Fans of the big band and crooner eras will not want to miss this show. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 9: Back by popular demand, Equinox will make another bandshell appearance. At the Celtic core of this exhilarating band are pipes, fiddle, flute, whistles, bohran, and concertina with complementing vocal harmonies to name a few. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 16: Lansing based Dr. Gunn. Come enjoy this very versatile band that covers a wide range of music including show tunes and rock. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 23: Wynwood is a local artist that has been entertaining Jackson for over 20 years. They will be making their Rotary Bandshell debut in 2012. Wynwood covers the top 40 scene. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, June 30: Lansing natives Frog and the Beeftones will be at the bandshell delivering their blues and classic rock sound. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 7: The Jackson French Quarter Dixieland Band has been playing for the Jackson community since 1984. If you like Dixieland jazz, you won’t want to miss this show. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 14: R&B Singer songwriter & Guitarist Ian Stewart is a world travelled performer who's paid his dues and has been "Spreading The Blues" for the past two decades. Show begins at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 21: Toppermost is an amazing Beatles Tribute that plays shows all over Michigan. Turn back the clock with us at the Bandshell with the sounds of Toppermost. Show starts at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 28: Local talent AirTight delivers the sounds of Motown like no other. Show starts at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 4: BigFoot Bob and ToeTapp plays quite a diversity of genres including blues, jazz, rock, country, soul, and reggae. This talent-filled show starts at 6:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 18: Singer/Songwriters in the Round This event features original compositions by Jackson County singers and songwriters, a wide variety of musical tastes and genres. Featuring Ian Stewart, Kevin Nichols, Brian Tucker and more. This talent-filled show starts at 6:00 p.m.

Cascade Falls is a wheelchair and stroller accessible facility with free parking, snack bar, gift shop, museum and restrooms. Pets prohibited inside The Cascades No coolers allowed inside The Cascades
