Marriage Licenses are public record. You may visit the clerk's office directly to obtain a marriage license on file in Jackson County or you can send a request in writing to:

Please include the name of the bride and groom and date and/or year they were married. Include a self addressed stamped envelope as to where you would like the license sent back to along with a check or cashiers check made payable to the Jackson County Clerk. The first certified copy is $10 and $2 for any additional certified copy of the same license. Include your contact information where you can be reached in case we have any further questions. You may also stop by the Jackson County Clerk's Office to obtain this record. We accept, cash, checks, cashier checks, Mastercard, Visa and Discover Cards.
