BAD CHECK RESTITUTION PROGRAM
For a number of years this office had a “Bad Check” Diversion program. This program was designed to assist business owners in recovering funds caused by persons who wrote “bad checks.” It proved to be very successful.

Unfortunately, due to budget cutbacks in County government this office will no longer be able to offer this program. As an alternative you may pursue the matter in the 12th District Court, Civil Division – Small Claims. You may also contact your local Police Department to determine their policy relating to this matter.
