Located in Napoleon Township, the Clark Lake garage crew maintains roads in the southeast section of Jackson County. This JCDOT crew provides service to more lake-area residents, than any other garage crew in the county. They navigate trucks through narrow lanes and roads, and are especially careful of residents' smaller lawns, when plowing snow.
Crews from the Clark Lake garage also assist with cutting and trimming trees, mowing, ditching, grading, pothole maintenance, and snow and ice removal. There are 17 county plow trucks and four state plow trucks stationed at the facility.
Currently, there are 11 full time drivers, one mechanic, and one working foreman at this location. When fully staffed, they have 16 employees. The Clark Lake garage was built in 1994.
