In-Home Services

Home Care Assistance

Home is where it's most important to feel comfortable and more independent. At times, having a little help may be necessary to make that possible. Our Home Care Department can assist by arranging for light housekeeping, help with bathing, dressing and other personal care needs.

Respite Services

Due to changes in health, some seniors are unable to live fully independently, but are able to remain at home with the support of a caregiver, such as a spouse, adult child, sibling or close friend. Providing continuous care can be stressful for caregivers. Periodic help from a respite worker can provide caregivers short, rejuvenating periods of time away from their responsibilities of caring for a dependent senior, which helps preserve the caregiving relationship.

Alzheimer's Respite

For families caring for a senior who has Alzheimer's or another form of dementia, please visit the Alzheimer's and Dementia Services page.

Making Service Affordable

Paying for help to come into the home can be expensive. Our goal is to make in-home services and respite care affordable and one less worry for caregivers. We target seniors with low income levels. Service recipients are asked to make fair share donations toward the services they receive. Respite services may be subject to a sliding fee scale or co-pay.

In-Home Assessment

Before services begin, an in-home assessment is done to identify the caregiving needs of the household. Periodic reassessments are performed to ensure the level of care given remains consistent with changing needs.
