[ARCHIVED] Celebrating Our 911 Dispatchers

National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week

This year April 8-14, 2018 is National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week.  Held every year during the second week of April, NPSTW is a time to recognize telecommunications personnel in the public safety community for their service and commitment to the profession.

“This is the week we take time to highlight the important role that telecommunicators have in facilitating emergency services and say thank you,” declared Harriet Miller-Brown, State 911 Administrator. “It is an honor to celebrate these exemplary individuals who demonstrate the highest levels of professional conduct and extraordinary performance. Their dedication and hard work touches the lives of countless people daily.”

Thank you to our great team of 911 dispatchers here at the Jackson County Office of the Sheriff. Thank you for keeping the citizens of Jackson County and the local First Responders safe.
